Who we are

This website is run by Hive People Ltd, an HR consultancy based in England. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

  • Company number: 17547611
  • Registered office: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU
  • Email: adam@hivepeople.co.uk

What information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us, when you:

  • send a message using our contact form (your name, company, email address, phone number, company size and message)
  • contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp

How we use your information

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold consultations, and provide our services if you become a client. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries you send us, and on contract where we are taking steps to provide services to you.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the trusted service providers that help us run the business, for example:

  • our website host and email provider, which store and deliver your messages
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To make a request, email adam@hivepeople.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookie notice

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This website keeps them to a minimum:

  • No analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
  • Session cookie (strictly necessary): if you submit the contact form, a temporary cookie lets us show you whether your message was sent and keep what you typed if something needs correcting. It is deleted when you close your browser.
  • Cookie notice preference: when you dismiss our cookie notice, your browser remembers this (using local storage) so we don't show it again.

Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no information is sent to third parties when you browse this site. If you follow a link to WhatsApp, it has its own privacy and cookie policies.

Strictly necessary cookies don't need your consent under UK law, but you can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
